Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 - Playthrough Part 1 - Splash Hill Zone

The Blue Spike Hedgehog is back to his 2D (2.5D) routes in his latest outing titled Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 or Sonic 4 if you wish. Sonic 4 is now available on iPhone (Sorry no PSP or DS versions), XBLA, PSN and on the 15th (Europe) WiiWare.

Sonic looking better than ever

The hedgehog’s latest outing is homage to the classic 2D sonic games of the past and is a successor to Sonic and Knuckles. I had a lot of fun playing Sonic 4 on XBLA, the graphics are fantastic and so are the level designs.

I've uploaded some gameplay footage to YouTube, which you can view below. It contains Acts 1-3 and the first Boss fight with Eggman. I’ll write up my review of this game some time later enjoy the video.
